K type thermocouple limits?

We are setting up a glass blowing studio - and so far we have one of your JDL634 and one JLD612... We noticed that the manuals say a K type thermocouple can only go to 1300C (2372F). We need for the JDL634 (running the glass melting furnace) to go to 2500F. The K type thermocouple we have is built for this type of application - with a long ceramic sheathed probe.

Do you think your controller will go on up to 2500F if the thermocouple is able to?

Thanks!

It can go as high as 9999 or as low as -19999. See the manual.
It's all depends on the thermocouple type you used.
