Can this meter take voltage input directly?

I'm reading manuals and am a bit confused because they do not show a practical example of installation.

I need to monitor voltage from 0 - 500VDC and current from 0 - 30 AMPS DC
From what I understand:
Pin 1 - Supply DC +
Pin 2 - Supply DC -

Pin 10 Com - Common to sampling ... assuming this is the negative of supply to be sampled
Pin 7 - 5 A - I'm assuming that shut be placed across Pin 10 and Pin 7, Pin 7 would be connected to load
Pin 5 - 500V - I'm assuming that I place positive of 500VDC supply to this pin

A wiring diagram of an external power to be monitored would be nice to see example.

Also I read in manual of another unit that it requires voltage transducer. I'm confused with this because
I do not see connection inputs for types of voltage transducers. Does this unit in fact need a voltage
transducer to be able to monitor power supply that is 500VDC?

You need a DC shunt 50A, 75mV tap to #9 #10. Plus, the load must be connected to the shunt direct but not to the terminals of the meter (#9,#10). It's better to have minium 1ft long wires connect the shunt to the terminals of #9 and #10
