X7 DSP Installation help

I ordered the X7 DSP kit for my chinese 40W ebay special based on reviews I read on here. I started the upgrade but have run into a few issues that I would like some help on.
1) The install guide is lacking and after searching I couldn't find a better than this one. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1372 but my chinese laser cutter doesn't have the "big green" and my kit came with stuff the isntruction don't mention? Does anyone know of a better install guide?
2) The wiring diagram, download/manual/DSPConnection.pdf , doesn't match the X7 board. Are the inputs still valid? I think I could figure it out if I had a wiring diagram that I could use to connect everything.
If someone could point me in the right direction or provide some guidance I would greatly appreciate it. Can't wait to get this thing up and running!!
