autocad blocks not in correct position

Hi all
I was wondering if someone would be able to shed some light on why lasercad always imports autocad blocks out of alignment. Please see attached pic.
In this file the spidery bit on the left is attached to the purple circle in autocad and any other program that I open the file with. Only when I import it into lasercad is it out of alignment.
I have tried several different cad formats and they all seem to be the same.
I have tried several different files & they all seem to have problems with bocks.I did manage to get someone to import and export a file in Corel draw and that fixed the problem but that seems to be using a
to crack a peanut.
Does anyone know why this happens and any ideas on how to avoid it.
Thanks
Alex
