What power supply is recommended for the 40W Laser with your upgrade kit/

You have one that goes to 20w -45v at 110 and another that is 40 -60m w at 110.

Which one is the better one of the two for the x7 DSP upgrade kit?

I have also noticed that some people remove the potential meter and others keep it? Recommendation?

For the K40, the following 40W laser power supply is good

It doesn't matter what you use for the X7, it is no relevant

Power is controllable through the DSP controller board. You don't need to add the external potentiometer for current adjustment

I am planning to purchase the X7 upgrade kit but would like to continue to use the power supply that came with my K40, and purchase a PWM power supply later. I read that this works with the AWC608 does this also work with the X7?
