Even though LaserCad built-in some basic drawing tools but it is lack of powerful drawing utilities when compare to those true Cad system. Many folks confused that they can use LaserCad to design a very sophisticated art design i.e., CorelDraw, Illustrator, AutoCad or similiar Cad system can do.
I talked to Li, the programmer and the president of AWC608 and X7 and he agreed. So, if you folks have a better idea of naming the "LaserCad", please let me know. We will pick the best one to name the laser software.
Thanks
Marco

Okay Ill go first.
In the spirit of trying to be realistic.
Im guessing when it is out in the wild its main purpose is to drive the laser but be more cad like.
So laser should be part of the name.
But the software might end up bing the best software yet? so not to underestimate the possibilities. this version would be the Light version
"LaserLight"
Also, Later when it gets a beefy tune up it can be LaserLight~Pro Edition Or LaserPro?
my 2 cents.
Sam

Although the name is LaserCad it's more like LaserCam.... that name already exist for a device so for the software i go for LaserCam+ (LaserCamPlus)
This sound a bit like the old LaserCad so many people will recognize it. And it is a bit more than just CAM... you could do a little CAD too, that's why it's a +
