x axis moves to the right but not to the left

Hello
I have installed the AWC608 board on a k40 laser.

Every thing seems to work except, the X axis will not move to the right.

During homing the LCD screen reads System Resetting, the x axis makes the limit switch and stops. The y axis makes the limit switch and comes off then stops. The controller beeps once then reads File;001 Num: 302 Power1: 50.0 |40.0% Speed: 200 mm/s X=00000.0 Y=00000.0

My limit switches test good. I have swapped the driver boards with the same result.

When I change the output from the AWC608 card from the X axis to the Y axis. And the out put from the AWC608 Y axis to the X Axis. The problem moves to the other motor. That is to say that the problem seems to be coming from the port on the AWC608 card identified as 6.X

Has anyone else had anything similar happen?

Yes, in that case it had to do with the definition of the area. In a few cases negative times negative is positive while positive is still the wrong direction..
I tried all like reversing the motors, define anothe homeposition, inverting the dignals and finaly i found the right combination to have it moved in all the right directions..

I don't understand how you solved the problem?

This is a truth table that leads me to the conclusion that there is something wrong with the AWC608 rather than the motor or a drive. But maybe it is something else.

I read that you use a K40. Depending on what you changed beside the controller, I think you have to compare the settings in LaserCad with other K40 users that applied the same controller (AWC608)
I can't help you with that as I developed and build my own laser..
