Hello

I have got a question regarding the power values in laser cad / dsp. When my engraving is set to 100% Power: what does this exactly mean? Is this the Maximum power the power supply can deliver? My power supply has 60 W (from lightobject) and the tube 40 w. Am I right with my assumption that I would kill my tube with 100%? If this is the case: What would be your recommendation regarding the maximum power?

You can watch your currentmeter. Set the max percentage so that the current equals the tube's max current according its specifications.. Say there is a value of 16mA in the datasheet, increase the % to a level that your currentmeter reads 16.0 mA while cutting. This percentage is the max for that tube.. Maybe it is only 65%... You should never exceed this percentage..
There is, however, a small circuit with two potentiometers here on the forum, where you can use 0 to 100%. The settings of the two potentiometers will make that ~10% to 65% if you want..
