Well thanks to all the help on here I have my chinese K40 working almost perfect. The reason why I say almost is when I tested my reading on LED I would only get 8.9 at full power. As I saw other people had the same problem, they found the PSU was set at 220v. Well the power supply that came with my unit IS a 220v and there is no switch. hammer

Does anyone know a way to convert the PSU down to 110v? Or do I need to order a new 110v power supply?

thanks!

Jerry

Without a switch there is no way to convert the PSU, but you can buy a step up transformer to convert 110 VAC to 220 VAC. 8-)
