hi, i'm mister miccoli from ITALY and i'm new in laser technologies.
I'have a normal 4 axis cnc machine that i use with a normal kress cutter.
i usually use it to cut 3 or 4 millimiters plywood (for rc models).
I saw your video about solo desktop 40w and prof 50w. I like it.
my question are 3:
1)what I have to buy to have a similar laser system in my cnc machine? help me in the choise
2)can I cut 4 millimiter plywood?
3) I have to change my 4 axiz controller (with another one able to drive the laser too)?

How big of your machine and what is the size of part you need to cut. What is the size of the material (wood board)?

You better have 60Watt or bigger CO2 laser and power supply in order to cut 4mm wood. With help of Nitrogen, you can prevent the dark burning mark.

Most CNC machine are running G-code. You still can use it for CO2 but you need to come up a basic electronic circuit for triggering the power supply. Or, you can get my DSP controller for both cutting and cutting
