My machine works fine and I have changed the setting of speed factory and didn't notice any difference. Can someone explain what the setting does?
Thanks!

Speed means speed. i.e. Speed 100 means a speed of 100mm/sec.
First: what kind of controller do you have.
Did you read the setting prior to save them?
etc etc..

hi there
ok the speed setting means the speed in mm/s what the machine ether engrave or cut .
for cutting depending on the laser power a setting of up to 15mm/s is the usual but with high power setting
for engraving it could go up to 500mm/s again depending on laser power
greetings

Sorry for some reason I had a "Y" on the factor. Thanks for the feedback. However I wasn't clear in my question. I have a good understanding of speed.
I have the LO-X7 DSP.
My Question is: Within lasercad settings. Under user Parameters, There is a "Speed Factor" Setting mine is set at 1, I have changed it to 4 with no apparent change. Does anyone know what this specific setting is for?
Thank you!
