Questions on a few LaserCAD commands

I've had the AWC608 for about 3 years, and it has worked well.
On the newer LaserCAD versions I see a few things that are not in the manual. Can anybody explain "Pen Run", and what is "Leftover", and a new thing I see "Manual Notch"?
