Problem with 40W PWM CO2 Power Supply !

Hello,
i have a problem with 40W PWM CO2 Laser Power Supply.
I have bought the power supply since a year.
During engraving, the laser beam starts with normal power, after 1mm from the path of the laser, the power of the laser decrease with 30%, and keep it like that to the end of the path.
The result its very ugly.
These 30% its enough to material to not be engraved.
If i increse the power of the laser, there will be a deepest area when the laser starts.
For cutting, all of my setting i need to increase with 30% to cut successfully.
Please help!!

It is not about %, it is all about the actual currently running through the tube.
By the way, you don't have much info about your machine, tube, power supply, controller, water temp... less people will be interest to help as we don't like guessing

Hi,
i can't find some description on the power supply.
The power supply its 40W,with black color, bought from Lightobject last year, there no such power suply on the store on Lightobject.com now, but item number from my order LSR-JN60W-3VPWM.
The other controllers are:
(from D/K40 upgrade parts LSR-K40DSPKIT )
AWC608 Commercial DSP CO2 Laser Engraving/ Cutter Controller
DC 24V 5A Switching Power Supply - S-120-24
Laser tube from K40 machine
CW-3000 Industrial Water Chiller 60/80W Laser Engraver with maximum 22*C water temp.

I think somehow you just have the current setting right on the threshold gap. "Unstable zone"
So, my suggestion to you is to increase the current by starting at 10% then increase the speed to avoid over-burn.
FYI, laser tube and laser power supply (LPSU) have certain characteristics. For small tube, it runs stable at 4mA or over. For bigger tube like 100W, it must driven over 6~8mA. For Reci 130W, it need to run over 10mA before entering the stable zone. To offset this problem, you need to increate speed for either cutting or engraving

my maximum speed it's 500mm/s. , but thank you, i will try.
These result it's with 500mm/s speed.

Hi again,
today i have changed the power supply, it is not from it, i have met the same problem.
The other devices where can be the problem :
digital ampere meter,
laser tube
control board.
