question on installing LaserCad V7.43-Problem Solved

I just received a new LO-X7 DSP and am attempting to get it set up.
In the Email I received was a link to download the File for Laser Cad. I have installed the software and everything seemed to install OK. Both the software and the driver. The Email refers to using a password to install parameters.
Nothing ever popped up to enter a password. When I launch the software it comes up OK but when I attempt to change to the English language in the Work Space screen all of the drop downs are blank thereby not letting me choose English.
It appears none of the parameters are present. I'm wondering if this has to do with not figuring out how to list the password that was provided.
I'm really new to this and am probably doing something silly that is not correct.
I do not have the DSP connected to the computer if that makes any difference. I'm just trying to get the SW installed and changed to English so I can see what I am doing.
Could someone with a lot more knowledge than I please give me a tip as to what to do?
Thanks,
Dick
