Changing units from MM to Inches

Is there a way to change the units in LaserCAD from MM to Inches. Unforunately, everyone in the US still uses IPS not MMGS. I can do the conversions in Solidworks, but its a whole lot easy to stay in the native unit of measure.

There is NO way to use inches in lasercad. It's MM or nothing. Some time ago Marco tried to get the programmer to enable inches and we overwhelmingly supported decimal inch measurements but nothing was heard since. My feeling is that it is to hard for the programmer to do. Besides the weird labels, it's one of the worst things about lasercad.
You can import AI files that retain the same size as the original.

Yea, it's workable but kind of a pain. I have to sketch it in Solidworks in inches, then when it's good, convert to metric before I export to DXF. The neat thing about Solidworks is that even if it is in MM, when you type in a dimension, you can type IN after it and it assumes you meant inches and automatically converts to MM.
