I decided to post the LaserCad software and manual on the download section as 1: I can't stop someone from re-distribute it and 2: it cost me too much time and effort to send the software 7 one by one. So, here you go
viewforum.php?f=55
This is a standard version LaserCad. A modified version with more feature LaserCad is under development and it can be applied to LO-X7.
A new DSP card will be launched sometimes on April. It may support 256 gray scale engraving (3D engraving). Also, a 7" touchscreen will be launched around the same time as well. For the touchscreen system, by adding a daughter board and a motorized laser head, a true auto sensing mechanism is available and one can take the advantage of the unique feature and capable to do curve object cutting or engraving. It is unlike auto focus currently installed on laser machine by moving up/dn the Z table. This dynamic auto sensing system change laser head distance against the object in real time vs a motorized laser head that attached to X gantry. The sensing device is developed by Germany. I'll get a sample for testing soon

sign me up! i would love to be able to do proper greyscale instead of just dithering.

Hi Marco,
You have great news.
Height controlled head really nice one , I was working on it. Its good for big machines ,always hard to control head distance when your machine big like 2000x4000mm and plywoods not always straight.
What about servo encoder system? I realy want to use servos with your DSP's but its always fail for me even with best servos like yaskawa, siemens, mitsubishi etc.
Have a nice day.

I'll get more information after doing some basic on the new DSP (I have a couple on hands now)
I'm very excited also!
