I choose to install LaserCAD on my Window 8.1 PC with CorelDraw X7 installed and no matter what I try it says "Can't find Coreldraw"

Can someone tell me what I'm missing or doing wrong ?

What I would try, is to place the LaserCad installer in the CorelDraw program directory and run it from there.

That is exactly what I did, no good, same thing. I even rebooted.

Well, I can't get it to work. LaserCAD still says "can't find Coreldraw"

I can and have easily installed LaserCAD, just not the selection for Corel.

Is it possible to manually add the macro to Corel Draw ?

no the macro for CorelDraw comes with the installation.
you need to install again and select lasercad for CorelDraw and you also need the 64bit usb driver installed.

Hi Walt, I did do the "for Coreldraw" install and the 64 driver. However, I installed the LaserCAD only version first (forgot to select the corel dropdown) then I think I got it uninstalled. Then reinstalled using the for coreldraw choice and that's when it says "Can't find Coreldraw".

OK, so what format is best to save designs done in CorelDraw to import into LaserCAD ?

DXF ?

Thanks,
