Is there a history of upgrading the Universal Laser Systems ULS-25E laser from the old control electronics to the DPS Laser controller (ELSR-4XDSP14)? I just recently purchased a used ULS-25E system and would like to upgrade the control electronics. Suggestions on how it might be done?

Yep. Did some google searchin' and that was one of the first links I found. Issue is that I will be using the RF CO2 laser after reprocessing and was looking for a way to hook up the SYNRAD laser to the DSP controller as I know this controller has outputs for the laser.

Or am I just psyching myself out?

Once you’ve extracted the .zip file and navigated to the folder labeled “manual”, the file you’re looking for is labeled “Specification of MC-BOARD”.

Oh those manuals...yeah..I have seen that. I am looking for connection information for the Synrad laser. Thanks!

I assume your Synrad Laser is an RF laser (I know mine are). Connecting RF Lasers is explained in the PDF labeled “Specification of MC-BOARD”.
