installing the awc608 on rabbit laser

Post by ANDY123 »

OK I just ran into what are probably stupid problems but I just want to be safe than sorry later.
The 6 slots coming off the power supply from left to right are.
High power - low power - water protection - ground - IN - 5V

The old controller was wired in high power. Now do I still run it in high power or low like the wiring diagram says. Or do I run both the high and low.

Question 2 the water protection I have a wire going from there to what appears to be a water valve. Do I just leave that there or take it out and run a jumper from WP to ground like I read on another forum.

Like I said dumb questions but I don't want anything the break.

Hi Andy

You can run it both high and low I guess. We have an aw608 on a rabbitlaser (same as pretty much all other machines) and uses TLL (low). Just remember to set the setting accordingly in lasercad.

The waterprotection is basically just a switch, so connect it to WP. If I recall correctly the manual describes this somewhere.
