Hi i recently purchased a DC-K40iii Laser cutting machine, i need this machine to be able to cut and engrave wood, plastic etc, the software i got with it (Newly seal) is insufuciant so i purchased CorelDraw. If posible can someone show in as much detail as posible how to remove the existing componts and replace them with new up to date conponts such as the DSP Contoller and control board, including the power suply and motor drivers. And posible post a list of exactly what i would need too. PLEASE HELP!!!

To do that, you need three major things and a couple minor:
Major:
1) 1x The DSP control system
2) 1x PWM 40W power supply
3) 2x single axis stepping motor driver

Minor:
1) X & Y limit switches (four micro limit switch)
2) Flexible cable for motor(s) and for the limit switch
3) 1x 24V 10A power supply, 1x 5V 1A power supply
(note: the 24V 5A is assuming that your motor is running 1.5A or less. I believe the K40III is having 0.8A motor. For other kind of machine, you may need to use higher current current PS. I'll have 24V 5A and 24V 15A power supply coming. Possible a week from today)

Very important: you got to have some electronics background or someone can assist you. It's not a rocket science but do need some electronics knowledge to do the connection. Common sens is very important!

I'm going to convert one my small machine and I'll post the images step by step over this forum
Most likely that I'll do it on this week as I'll go to China for 'shopping' on 3/25 till the end of April (yes, a whole months!). I want to finish this project before I go as there are so many folks asking for it!

Post your parameter setting here as I found that there was something not right on the movement of the laser head from the video. I need to see both manufacturer setting and the user settings. It seems that the acceleration was very slow. It could be better by pmp braindumps react faster. From the video I seem, the laser seems moving with latency

I recommend getting the full kit from Marco. He has great products and support, but does not push anyone to buy his products so I will do it for him.

Here is the link for the kit: http://www.lightobject.com/AWC608-DSP-u ... -P758.aspx

Here is a link for the conversion manual: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1372

And some connection diagrams, etc.: viewtopic.php?f=55&t=660

I would also recommend a 38.1mm focus lens, a 50.8mm, and if you cut thick objects a 63.5.
