DSP stopped in the middle of the job

I found this on thingiverse and got it actually loaded into lasercad and onto the DSP successfully. The main hangup in that stage was my own inexperience with coreldraw. Being much more experienced with AI, I find coreldraw menus and syntax along with lack of a few keyboard shortcuts frustrating.
That aside, I did get the file loaded.
I decided to run the machine fairly slow at 100mmps speed for the bitmap engraving because I find with my machine (a blacktoe from buildyourcnc kit) this speed results in a higher detail engraving.
It started running fine, lasercad showing that the job would take 5 hours. I let it run.
About 2/3rds of the way through, the machine stopped and the LCD display indicated that it was "out of range" or some equivalent message. "limit exceeded" ? similar to the message you get if your drawing exceeds the soft limits of the hardware you have set in the controller, only this drawing does NOT exceed the limits.

I went and broke the drawing up into smaller chunks, however this was a disappointing experience with the controller. Perhaps there is a bug I discovered.
here is the thingiverse project: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5727
Here is the drawing in the lasercad format:

It is not a bug but your inexperience of setting up the object in proper location. Make sure you set the "Position Relative" and the layout matched your HOME switch location. Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right. Plus, you need to take the location of the ORIGIN in consideration. It is the point where the laser head start to work. You need to take some time to play around it before sending a job for production.

OK can you please be more detailed in what you mean " take the location of the ORIGIN in consideration. "
I understand it's where the laser starts its work,
in my setup, all of those parameters in the software match my hardware, the ORIGIN was in the correct orientation and location (within the software and hardware limits as well)
None of the cut area or engrave area was outside of the soft or hard limits.
As far as I could tell, everything was set properly. Please, I need more clarity if I am to succeed with this product.
Thanks
