STEPPER X no power


Completed k40 upgrade interface works with DSP608 ; BUT I discovered no power to x axis stepper- wiring diag. as noted in forum does not include best wiring connection for stepperX- assume preference.

AFTER UPGRADE :

Only Y stepper works, X does not indicate green LED >> laser head move only Y direction

Please recommend which is best: adding wire+ and wire- from 24V COM an V+ (i.e. mirror of Y axis wiring connection) that is effectively doubling the connection at same terminals on 24V power supply
OR
bridging terminals V+ an Gnd from stepY to V+ and Gnd on Step X

I have not burnt or blown up anything yet and remain anxious to avoid scenario... what should I do?

I wired each stepper driver to the 24V power supply to V+ and COM for V+ and Gnd connections although wiring the X stepper driver from Y stepper driver also works I was unsure if this might affect performance
