Objects being cut dont look like the screen.

I'm running the AWC608, Main Board 7.13.02.20 and LCD Board 5.12.02.29.

I was working with an imported DXF file yesterday, it has about 6 or 8 different objects on it. It would look just fine on the screen, the objects had spacing between them, it should have fit on my worksurface just fine. But when I actually would cut it out, parts would appear in a different physical location on the laser workspace, some parts even overlapping or being offset from eachother by several inches. It was even slamming my head into the left side of the table, even though there is a homing switch there (I thought it would work as a limit switch, maybe I'm wrong about that). So anyway, I'm curious where to start. I was going to do an OS upgrade on things, but then I saw the comments by Marco that things purchased after a certain date in 2012 didn't need an upgrade (and mine was purchased after that date). I'm running LaserCad 6.46.

I tried moving the offending objects around within lasercad, but the problem seemed to follow them. I don't know if it's lasercad, if it's my files (although they look fine on screen) or how to go about troubleshooting this issue. The type of parts I'm going to be cutting will almost always be generated by a third party CAD application and sent to me as DXF, so creating the objects in lasercad natively is not an option for me.

I've seen others ask similar questions on the forum but didn't seem to get the issue resolved, so I'm throwing this out there with the hopes that somebody can point me in the right direction. If I can't master this, the DSP does me no good. I don't have the DXF handy, but I'll post one when I can get in front of the machine.

To clarify my question - sizes and shapes are FINE. If I cut a 10mm x 10mm cube, i get a 10mm x 10mm cube. it's just the location and placement of parts I'm having problems with.

Sorry for my late reply. We're doing moving so I really got no time to view the forum for 3 days.
Now we moved into a new location: 21 Blue Sky Ct., #A, Sacramento from a house based location

By the way, can you email me the file? I'm going to let the programmer to give it a try
