Focus problem

The leftmost of my engraving is just perfect. As my engraving goes to the right, I start losing focus.
I tried turning the laserhead's orientation. There seems to be an angle that is better than others. If I turn clockwise too much, I don't get laser; same for CCW. I don't seem to be finding and angle that works perfectly.
I tried with and without air assisted laser head. Without seemed to be a little better but not fully focused.
I tried raising the stage very little on the right hand side. Not much difference.
Does anyone have suggestions?

It is the mirror alignment and the focus lens angle issue. You need to fine tune it

Just giving my experience when I upgraded my K40.
I found the X arm was not parallel to the main base frame. The right side was 5mm higher than the left. I fixed the issue by elongating the hole for the idler roller so I can adjust the height. Using a vernier caliper I was able to measure the left side and then adjust the right side to match. This was after cleaning the metal shavings out of the unit from the original manufacturer. The manufacturing of the unit was very bad. It took a few extra days for my upgrade but it is working and this weekend I hope to be installing my air assist head.

I won't be surprise. It the machine from "Shunhui"? I been there for 3 times and showing them how to fix some issue but... they never listen. Time and $$ is in their priority list. That's why I am no longer carry their machine (K40) and rejected their offer of being their distributor in USA. Most machine made in "Jinan", the city in ShanDong province more or less have some major issue. Most Chinese manufacturer do not use machine manufactured in that area. They do a lot export to Middle East though because of very low price. They make money from the subsidize from the Government 13% tax return. Companies like G-W... Rab.. FS?... Univ... are all importing machine from those laser manufacturer in Jinan.

Thanks for the information on the K40 laser machine. I am currently upgrading the machine with LO equipment. The 'x' arm wasn't originally perpendicular to the machine, fixed, and with your info I see the arm is off 2mm in height from one side to the other, to be fixed.
Marco, do you have any information on 'World' laser machines? good? bad?

"2mm" wasn't problem at all when compare to what I found 10mm unbalanced while I was in the factory! Even anyone could tell by eyes but the head of the QC even asked for a calibrator to measure. What the....!
Anyway, back you your question. Most Chinese manufacturer has different name when they are doing sales in Western market or they will find a partner from the local companies. So, unless you can get me the "Chinese name" or website and the address, with those info I can get my agent to dig up some info. The market is huge in China but the community is very small. To some extend that they know each other even though from different Provence (States). However, I really can't say too much for those company because 1) the products could be improved if they teamed up with US firm 2) quality may be better for the export. I don't want to get back fire from those shop as some are very nasty. Plus some folks who already bought machine from those company because they don't know what behind the screen. Common sense is that if not 100%, it would be 99% people know that machines from Jinan is not reliable and it is not quality made.
