"Engrave beyond size!"

Hello Marco!
I just finished my conversion and am very happy about the speed!
I still have a little issue: After uploading a new file, it's partially engraving and then I'm getting "Engrave beyond size!" on the LCD panel. It's not a big engraving (around 6x6 cms) and my range is 300x200 . How can I fix this?
I have tried with different engravings. The file that was originally on the machine (Donald duck) engraved just fine although it was bigger.

Thank you, Marco =)
I played around with what you told me and also changed the Origin mode to soft mode. The latter seems to have helped

This worked for me also.
Just a note: after checking every part of lasercad I finally realised that you set the soft origin mode on the DSP control panel!
Hope this helps

It also helped for me, although I haven´t figured why my origin should be set to Right UP and then LaserCAD changed it to Left DOWN by itself. Any other setting won´t result into engraving and show Engraving Beyond Size. But finally it is working now. Thanks for the support MARCO!

I seem to be getting this error as well. Earlier today it would run about half of a job and then give me the error. Now it is having the error as soon as I hit start. I have the origin set up and top left (havnt changed it since I got it going a year ago) and have the LCD controller set up with soft control (theses settings also haven't been altered ever).
Any thoughts why this is happening? I put my laser project on hold for 6 months and now I seem to have an error even though nothing had changed from then until now, it simply didn't run for a while. I can still run old jobs from 6 months ago that are stored on the LCD controller but any new jobs I attempt to run have this error.

Zoom out the work space see if any drawing even a 'dot' draw outside of the workspace. Also, check the "Position Relatives" see if it match the limit switch setup

I was able to get a new file to work from the start by moving it a few inches away from the edge of the working space. Is there any way to avoid this? The reason I ask is because it makes aligning the piece to be cut/etched more difficult. If not is there a general amount of space I can always bump my artwork in that will avoid this happening?
Also when this happens in the middle of a job is it being caused by something different? Seems like if the job is going smoothly it shouldn't suddenly be stopped (when the job was prepared I had plenty of space left before an edge)
