I have 2 KL 6050 Stepper Motor Drivers. I am building a LO 1200x1800 gantry at the moment with the DSP 2012 and 608B. Will these drivers be ok? Do I need 1/32 step modes? Here are the specs of them.

KL-6050 Bipolar Stepper Motor Driver:
Heat Sink is included.:

1/8 seems a little bit 'big' for the stage. I highly recommend 1/16 (3200) or 1/25 (5000). Doing cutting would be fine with 1/8 but for engraving, the artwork may be a little rough. Well, you may give it a try as other specification seems Ok. If it work out as expected, then use it and no need to waste money.

Thanks Marco,

I think I am just going to use a stepper driver capable of running at smaller steps. I will be cutting a lot of small circles in acrylic, so the smaller steps will prob be better.
