I am wanting to connect this current meter to my electronic equipment which draws 200ma. I was wondering if i would still need to purchase a shunt to install this unit to my equipment

Yes. Or just buy a 200mA current meter that doesn't need a shunt

Hello Marco I need a current meter. My application draws a maximum of 400ma. A current meter with max scale of 500ma would be perfect. Do you have a milli-amp current meter. Also do I need to purchase a shunt.

We don't carry those kind of meter. It's too specificed to customized unless there is an order of 100 or more
