CorelDraw 10???

I have a DSP kit on order and have been doing a ton of reading about it.

I noticed the software says it's compatible with CorelDraw 12 and up. I use CorelDraw 10. Is there some reason why that wouldn't work?

Does the DSP software work as a plugin with CorelDraw or does it work like a printer driver like most other laser software?

It wont work. I have Corel Draw 11 and the plug-in wont load. I cant remember for sure, but, I think it uses a script and not a true plugin.

So the plugin directly from CorelDraw won't work but I assume it comes with start alone software too, right? So I should be able to export from Corel and Import into the dsp software?

You may save it as DXF file using CorelDraw v10 and use LaserCad to do file importing. That way you can still keep the vector format and perform cutting. Note that vector file is for cutting and raster image is for engraving.
