Hi marco
like you know I help many people to convert there K40 to DSP and all was very sucessfull. now I got lo5ts of request for a solution how people can reload the files what they have in the DSP memory to a computer after the original computer crashed and they lost all there file.
the first what I told everybody to back up the files on a seperat memory ether USB stick or extra HD , but they dont do this often they use the machine memory I never have more then the actual work file in the DSP.
now can you find out if there is a possibility with a plug in or change of the original Laser cut programm to get the files backfrom the machine. I know you can save the file on a USB stick but you can not reload it to the lasercut if you wana make changes.
this would be greatly apriciated from many people with the DSP.
I know the lasercut programm and the machine software are differnt systems, but with all software there is allways a way somehow.
thanks
waltfl

It's "Mission impossible" due to the hardware limitation. Work file is much bigger in size than a data file. I suggest all customer using the drawing program like the CorelDraw as the main software to do most design and back it up with a Memory stick constantly. In the market, there are bunch of external HD back drive selling as low as $60 (500MB). This burden shouldn't be adding to the card for one's convenience but adding complicity and cost to the card itself.

FYI, I did talk to the programmer before but he was reluctant to do it with his good reason.
