I have a JLD634 that has stopped energizing the SSR properly. I installed it in my espresso machine to control the boiler. It had worked for several weeks with an intermittent error but now has stopped completely. The intermittent error was when I turned off the power then turned it back on the SSR would be energized all the time; I could get it to control properly by turning off the power, leaving it off for more than 20 seconds, then turning the power back on. Now, the SSR is energized all the time and no setting change results in proper control. Any suggestions?

As a guess, I'd say that the microcontroller in the JLD634 is locked up or is failing to reset. I would get a replacement -- anyway, always good to have a back-up.
