U axis for rotary?
Is it possible to use the U axis for rotary engraving? I have more than enough motor controllers in my setup and it would be very convenient. I wouldn't have to keep switching motors or wires to make it work.

I am replying, not because I have a good answer for you, but nobody else has.
No you can not use the U axis for rotary, only X or Y. With Y swapped to A, being the most common configuration.
