Hello!
For some reason the estimate and real engraving is way of. When the estimate is 10 minutes the real engraving could easily be 20 minutes.
Also, the speed that i choose for a engraving in lasercad is not accepted by the dsp.
It must be easy but I cant find it.

by the way, it there a sheet with basic settings? Like jerkspeed, startspeed etc?
what to select and what not (because the speed thing must be something easy or a setting that is wrong)
That would save me a lot of questions to annoy you guys with.
thanks!

Hi
probably one has to do with the other one if you set a speed then it calculates to this speed if this speed is not accepted then it will take longer
the speed can not be higher then what you have set as max speed in the manufacturer settings what should be not higher as the machine mechanical can take the K40 machines are a max of 500mm/s
greetings walt

the speed is fine now, the speed I choose is the speed given on the lcd screen.
But the timing is still way off.
If I program the speed at 150mm/s and check the timing the software says 8 minutes it could easily be 20 minutes on the real job!
Very annoying!
Well, in the guide it says that the software could predict very accurate so it must be as wrong setting in my system.
Hope somebody knows the problem.
