Folks:

We just finished the conversion of K40 making it DSP ready. The machine is under the "Hummingbird series", name "Solo DSP". Inside of the machine, we took all the 'gut' out and replaced it with the best parts we havefor the machine.

Here is what we did:

Parts removed:
-Low quality laser power supply
-Junkie Moshi controller
-Horrible big & giant greenressitor
-Small 5V/24V power supply
-Problematic photon limit sensor
-Ugly noisy water pump
-Bulky air fan
-Ugly front panel

Parts added:
-Latest AWC-608 DSP controller
-High quality 60W power supply
-2M415 stepping motor controller
-24V switching power supply
-Proximity limit switch
-Brushless water pump
-Ball bearing fan
-Pretty front panel

Beautiful, isn't it?!

Ok, I guess this is what you made us buy.
Can you please send me a diagram of the wiring from the old machine (the one we are upgrading from) to the new DSP one?

Pictures here are not that clear, can't really see what goes where.

To my opinion, the conversion is pretty straight forwarded and it's easy. Well, may be to me. But I don't see it very difficult but just take time

you are damn right it is straight forward to replaCE ALL THE PARTS. I did in the mean time 8 conversion right here and helpt another 6 guys to do the same and they all could do it.
the most problemes come afterwards with the settings which need to be in accordance to the machine mechanical side like work area, limit switches etc.

Well, I must say it's not that easy. There are a bunch of cables and the diagrams shown in the topic you linked Marco, refer to steppers that have different writings on them.
My bud working with me is really good with electronics. He said it can be done, but it'll take a lot of time just to understand what goes where.

And I must say, the diagrams are not that clear guys.
Might be for you that actually work with this stuff, but HTML code is pretty easy to me too, since I work with it Try to get a tailor to make a html only web page telling him: hey, opening tags are these <, closing are these > , the rest is pretty straight on.
