4CH RF Remote Control Tx/Rx Kit (module)

This refers to the remote reciever without relays (also known as basic stamp).

Please explain how this device functions.

For example, first, I connect a power source (5v) to the +5v and GND terminals. That part's pretty clear. Assuming I have a momentary on version, what then happens at terminals VT, D0, D1, D2, and D3 as I press each button on the remote?

Thanks in advance.

D0,D1,D2,D3 is the output
VT is an indicator for the output

Why not download the manual and read it?

I did download the manual- and it isn't very clear on what is output; that's why I asked the question. So, it seems VT goes to +5v (or whatever V+ voltage is) when one presses any one of the buttons. So what do the outputs do? Does the output corresponding to the button pressed also go to +5v?

Again, it's an indicator for the action. You can use it or without. It's really up to you. It's +5V whenever a button is press
