Max current output for 5V pin going to power supply?

Hi all,

I'm converting my DC-KIII. I'd like to use the existing opto limit sensors. I've gotten the pins mapped out. The opto sensors require 5 volts. The output of the opto sensors goes from 0.15V when I obstructed to 2V+ when obstructed.

Two questions:

There's no 5 V out for the limit switches, but there is a 5V out on the LASER2 section of the board. I'm thinking I could use this for my opto sensor. What's the maximum constant current output on this pin?

For what voltage range on the x-/y- pin is the laser head considered home?

I decided to play it on the safe side and just use a voltage regulator to step down the voltage.
