AIP 40W laser engraver

Hello, I'm new to this forum.
Has anyone here upgraded a 40 watt Laser engraver from AIP (All Image Prinitng. This would be like the model "AIP-E40W5B". This of course is one of those cheap chinese machines. I want to upgrade it
with the AW608 DSP controller and could use all the help I can get. I'd hate to blow out the AW608 by mis-wiring somethin. Any help would be greatly apprciated
