No...using your 2 axis board....previous pm you said it would work before I ordered it!
Yes..using your sample code
Polarity on 5v output to laser board is reversed...can't seem to change it

I tried the 2-axis today and the connection is 100% identical to the 3 axis. Setup also the same.
So.... I think you need to review my post and rewire it.
Pay attention to the Mach3 setup.
- Output1 on #17
- Z output on #14

OK...you are CORRECT !
Sorry...stupid me using wrong connections on Relay !!!! (OLD PEOPLE sometimes READ UPSIDE DOWN ?)

Great! Glad to hear that it works now. I was thinking to wrap up Mach3 setup file for you to test if you was still not being to make it work.
Post some art-work done by the 2-axis card , would you?

OK..all was working great, imported some .dxf files and converted with LazyCam..no problems. Then running some cuts to post here..AND X AXIS SUDDENLY WENT CRAZY ! It will not respond consistently to program or jog..goes in any direction randomly !
I checked all wiring...all is ok...rebooted everything...reloaded Mach3...no good ! Either motor will run OK when plugged into Y axis...neither motor will run OK when plugged into X axis...changed and tried all dip settings ..no good...
What now ??

It happened when laser is fired, right? When you tested my sample, it worked properly right?
The problem that I can think of is that the machine didn't have good 'ground'. When, laser fire, there was high statics current feedback to the system. Most likely that the card is 'well done' now.
You may reset the Mach3 setting and let it run my simple file. If it still works, then it's a go sign that the board is still doing OK. Otherwise.... trash it

Yes it was running your sample file correctly !...No it will not run it now ! THE GROUNDS were all correct and substantial...tied to my main 3ph power board ground which is tied to a 4ft 3/4" ground rod !!!!
Seems a bit poor that this could fry your board !
Time for another board ?? (Somebody else's ???)

THe K40 has very bad grounding. You need to double check to make sure the case is connected to the ground. If you just though the gound of the AC plug is connected, then you may be making the biggest mistake. If you look at the plug from inside out, you may find that the 'Gnd' pin of the AC plug isn't really connected!
I don't know yours but all our machines received from that company were having this "low class" mistake. I burned a card before. Plus, when I tested my DSP laste week, the LCD always blanking even I have a wire ground to the case. But a mistake as the wire connecting to case was 'fake'. After I ran another wire direct from the case to the outlet true ground, everything back to normal

I need to 'Emphasis" that the power supply of the laser machine must be having well grounded! Not only the case alone, but need to ground 1) the laser Power supply, 2) the stepping motor power supply, and 3) the case. Missing one of those ground may get you a 'trouble'.

I have triple checked everything !..All PSU's and boards grounded to case..connections all good and tight...no ground loops..
I will order another board from you....but is there any way (diodes?) to protect the board better and avoid this happening again ? (Service life of 3 hours is pretty prohibitive !)

With Marco's help, I was able to configure and get the machine running.

It's very encouraging to see your support. It worth to make an extra effort to help you folks.
FYI, if you don't want to see the burning mark (dark color), you may want to switch the laser head with air-assisted and inject "nitrogen gas". Then, you will get prefect 'clean' cut. But I didnt' try it yet. I was told by one of my customer in Brazil "Master Rick" who tough me about it.
Even with air-assisted with air only, the cutting power should be boosted by 20%. Just in case you didn't know it
