Hi,
I have a laser at home that only has 1 power setting per layer. Circles slow the head down and there is no adjustment.
LaserCut5 had 2 power settings per layer. One for line and one for curve. I always just set them both the same and never had any problems.
LaserCAD has 4 settings and the manual covers an older version that has different options so I'm not sure how best to treat this.
Can someone explain these 4 options and maybe provide an example of what I should be putting in there.... I'm assuming one of these is for curves but it seems like maxpower should be the curve and minpower be the line. And in that case what is #2??
Thanks

Re: Cut Parameters question Max/Min power 1/2
AWC608 support dual output. For cutting, there are two power setting: Max and Min
Max: this setting is for the laser head during traveling on straight line
Min: this setting is for the laser head making turn or corner
Because it support dual laser head (two laser power and tubes), that's why you have total of Four setting.
Just ignored the last set and use Power1 and you will be fine
Usually I'll set 10% less for Min to avoid over-burned. But it is not really a rule of thumb. You need to try it on different materials.
