Walt:
That I really got no clue. You may have some ".dll" files left in your Windows system. To remove it clean (assuming un-install didn't work), you may use "Regedit" to fix the problem by remove all left over files.
1) First thing to do is to Uninstall the LaserCad, regardless what version you have.
2) On command prompt (or enter 'CMD" with RUN command), type in "Regedit" then Enter, and it will show you the Registry Editor. Be careful not to touch anything you're not sure with otherwise, it may crash your system. This is the area is the "management level" for the Windows. Once you edit something, there is no way to "u turn". So, backup your stuff but going to this part
Double click "HKey_Local_Machine
Highlight "Software" and right click mouse. Click "Find" and enter anything related to the LaserCad like "Lasercad" and let the system to search all info regarding the keyword. Click "Find Next" to let it search another level. Delete files you found until nothing can be found with the keyword.
Exit the Register Editor and reboot the machine. Then re-install the LaserCad see if it work
