How to re-zero the dsp
I have a 2012 dsp. my machine is x dim. 2200mm and y dim. 1100mm. The settings in the dsp are set to have the orrigin in the lower left. for some reason the machine is setting x-0 y-0 in the work field. how can the machine be rezeroed in the lower left corner? Thanks for any help!

Re: How to re-zero the dsp
A little confused by your question. The true (0,0) is the 'Home' where the limit switches are installed and the laser head parked once you press "Reset". If you want Bottom Left as to be the"Home" (0,0), then the X,Y limit switches must be installed at the Bottom Left and setting of Work place, the page and the Machine are need to set to "Bottom Left".
May be you should tell me the what you want to do and how the machine is doing now

Re: How to re-zero the dsp
Hey Marco,
Thanks for your response. In the settings, work area i have the orrigin set to lower left. I have the limit switches set up on the axes. When i first powered up the dsp i had unchecked the option to have the machine go to home. From then on the machine had its 0,0 coordinates somewhere in the work field. I have rechecked the option to have the machine go to home on start up but it will stay at the 0,0 coordinate. I have set the axes dimension in the manufacturer settings so when the axes are jogged they will crash into the end stops because it still thinks there is more availavle room to move. I am a little baffeled on how to address the issue.

Re: How to re-zero the dsp
Sorry but it still not clear to me how your machine is working. Can you do me a favour. I want you to shoot me some pictures of your machine and I want to see where are the two limit switches installed. Also, what is the size of your machine? I mean the size that the laser head can move 'freely'.
Also, do screen capture on LaserCad. I'd to see how you do the setup on both Manufacturer Parameters and the Work parameters.
If possible, a Youtube video to see how it start would be a big plus
