Solar pump system for pond
I'm wanting to circulate the water in a 1/4 acre cow pond, I've chosen two of the 40 watt solar panels to wire together, and the EWP-D50C2465 (40 L/m 24V ) pump. I want to add a 24 volt battery to extend the time the pump will run, so I'm thinking the EPR-SO10A solar regulator will work. I know just about nothing, so this is some guess work. Do these components go together okay? Any advice is welcome. So I need additional components?

How many hours are you expecting to operate daily?
How many hours of sunlight in your location available. In our area, Sacramento, CA, we have about 5.5~6 hrs daily sunligh in average

Re: Solar pump system for pond
Thank you for the reply. I would like the pump to run about 10 hours per day. The area is completely open to the sky, and we (Central Florida) average around 7 hours of sun over the course of the year.
Curiousity: Will a solar pump be harmed if too little current is available like some AC motors will? Again, don't know what I'm talking about, so I may not use the right terms.
