hI MARCO
SORRY if it come to harsch across but you see not just me having problem's. it wasnt directed against you but you are the only one who know where to complaine for a fix.
do you want me to send the display too because there is nothing wrong with the display itself but it would safe some shipping cost.
I used the provided cabel after hook up nothing was happening no request and even the usb viewer could not see any atachments. the cabel is ok because I try it on my printer and it wrok fine. maybe it si a lose contact an the plug I could resolder the contacts but I dont wana jeopardice anythings that I then be blaimed because of it.
please let me know what I should send you and if I first should try the re - solder the contacts but it also did not recognice a usb stick.
thanks and sorry
walt

Then it take 2~3 days at most to figure out the problem. If it's defective, a new card would ship to you from my office in USA. It's nothing more than 2 weeks.

I'm wondering is you used the same USB cable or did you try other. It seems very odd that the card didn't talk to any PC. When you hook up the card to a PC, was there any prompt pop up for driver or was the PC just keep 'silienc'? If no detection happned, it mean that either a faulty cable or the lose contact on the USB plug

We're wondering what kind of power supply are you using to power the DSP card. It sounds very strange as we (me and the tech) been discussing your case for whole day long

Can you post picture of your setup

You can try the re-soldering the USB plug. You don't need to take the whole thing out. Just make sure to melt the solder and let go to all four pins. It should help to reconnect it if any pin is missing the contact. Or, if you have ohm meter, you can check it. Make sure to use 10K or above but don't use X1 as the current may hurt the board.

If you decide to send it back to me for diagnostic, you don't need to send the cable or the LCD. just the card that way it save shipping

HI WALT,
since you have tried almost anything in the world to try to get a successful communication between computer and DSP and nothing seems to work, I hope you don't mind trying some thing very simple. I know this might sound stupid but in the beginning it worked for me. I assume that your DSP circuit board has 2 ports, one is a printer like and the other is the regular usb port, ok, connect both ports to the laptop simultaneously and see what happens. Remember to check for com after that once again. I hope that tickles something in there.

now I have send it to marco in china for testing
I am very curious what comes out.
