Hi all,
new to the forum, just got the DSP bd, blue with blue button panel. Building table from scratch, hoping to use q switched yag; didn't get any documentation with bd, but have downloaded some from forum.
The "minimum connection" drawing shows a 4 pin power socket, my bd has 2 pin, and labeled on bd 12v+ and 12v- is it correct to wire +24v dc to 12v+ pin and common GND for 24 supply to 12v- pin?
Also any pointers to the correct place to download documentation / software would be appreciated.
cheers

Re: DSP PH-board 2.0
Manual and software for the DSP card always available for download under the 'Manuals Download' section. Here is the link: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=366
It's so strange that a lot of folks seems not always being able to 'see' the manual section from the forum. I got call once a while and they told me that they couldn't 'find' any manual for product they bought but could see the "Discussion board" only. I'm wondering what was the cause. Is it because of screen size issue or should I move the Manual section up to the forum site?
I wish I know PHP so that I can highlight the "Manual Download"
Any suggestion?

Hey Marco,
You could probably attach a "sticky" note to the start of the CO2 laser forum pointing to where the manuals are.
I couldn't find it either when I first bought mine.
I just went looking for the CO2 laser section to see if it was there.
Maybe you could just put in a small note in the package when you send it to show people where to download it.
Just a suggestion.
Rich.

On you product page for the DSP controller, you do have a link to the manual. Unfortunately, it is to the old manuals. Maybe it could be updated to the new manual package.
If you want help with the site code, let me know.

Re: DSP PH-board 2.0
I posted both v4.34 and v4.38 just in case folks may need the older version for testing. I'll try to do something on the manual section to get their attention. When we shipped things out, we sent a delivery confirmation email with the Support forum link. However, I found that many folks won't read the email. I didn't post the forum site on my eBay you know why?? Those eBay seller from Hong Kong and China stealling my works: manuals, pictures, and item information. When I setup the forum the 1st 6months, I request each user to 'register' before they can download manuals. However, doing so cause unnecessary inconvenience to my buyers. So, I dropped it and let it go freely without registration requirement.

Some people have no shame, Marco.
Looks like the Chinese people do bad things to their own people too. I thought the Chinese Government wouldn't have allowed that sort of thing.
