AWC708C can't see home switches

Post by mroecks »

Hey Marco,

I have been using a new AWC708C for about a week, I just tried to boot the machine up and it homes but ignores both the X axis and Y axis homing switches. It stalls the steppers and can not finish booting.

I checked all the wiring and everything is ok there.

Is the controller blown?
:(

Double check the parameter setting to make sure the Limit switch is set to 'negative' triggering
Blown?? How could it be?

Checked parameters and they are fine.

Found out if I hit stop when it tries to home I can continue into a job.

Everything else works fine. It is just ignoring the inputs from both the X and Y axis.
