Using the 1527 4ch controller should the coiled antenna be stretched out? Is there any benefit to soldering the antenna wire to a metal plate? Just looking for ways to increase signal reception. Any ideas appreciated.

As long as the antenna not covered by a metal case, a coil or uncoiled made not much difference but the total lenght of the antenna does
