solved first setup for K40 conversion to DSP

Post by waltfl »

Hi all
I finally have firgured it out what can be the first setting for the DSP after conversion of a K40
after I was aible to run something I draw a square in laser cut of 50x50mm exact.
if the size is not right I had to make changes with draging the lines to the right size what is shown on top you can not wright the right size there this does not work ( what a shame)
then you need to hit first and every time you start a new project the date botton this clears the old settings in the machine,
then hit the download botton on the right and on the opening screen hit the download botton on the right bottom this sends the square to the machine you hear a bip
then hit the start botton
after the square is lasered take the measurments exact what was coming out, go back to the manufacturer settings click the ... botton to the right on the "pulse unit" X this opens a new screen there you got the top window with "expectet" you put the measurment in which you have drawn the square ( 50) and undernice in the window "actual lenght mm" you put your measured length of X in and click ok
the same you have to do with the Y pulse unit. then you hit the OK botton in the system settings screen
everytime you make changes you must close the lasercut programm thats the only way that the setting will stay in the programm.
I had a hard time to get it to work and I thought maybe somebody else could help some help with this too
greetings
walt
