three phase Stepper drive setting and parameter setting PW

I'm using the three phase stepper drives with the LO-07 DSP along with the three phase motors that come with the XLE X/Y stage kit. what step resolution should I set on the drivers? I have selected 3200 steps. what do you recommend? if I keep that setting do I need to go into Machine parameters setting and select 3200 well? I want to be able to run as fast as 500mm per second if possible and need the best micro step setting to achieve this and still have respectable resolution. mOst of our cutting is 100mm to 200mm circles.

Can you tell me where I enter the password if I want to change some of the machine parameter settings?

For our XLE stage, the micro-step setting can be 3200 to 5000. After setup on the motor driver, you need to go to LaserCad and re-calibrate the 'um' for the motor. Otherwise, the motor will not run smooth and the scale is not right. See "FAQ" on this forum and I mentioned it how to do the calibration.
