I too am trying to setup board to set for specific steppers. Which resistors need to be changed and with what> I am using 5.1VDC, 1.5a 2 phase 6 wire steppers. Additionally when you say the board is good for 2.5a. I assume that is per axis?
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks
Scott

Re: 5.1VDC 1.5a Stepper resistor setup
Formula: Vref/5Rs
Vrf = Voltage at pin#10
Rs= the current resistor (the bigger one you seem on the board, usually 2Watt)
Example:
1.0ohm = 1A
0.39ohm = 1.25A
0.3ohm = 1.5A
Vrf = Voltage at pin#10
Rs= the current resistor (the bigger one you seem on the board, usually 2Watt)
Example:
1.0ohm = 1A
0.39ohm = 1.25A
0.3ohm = 1.5A

Re: 5.1VDC 1.5a Stepper resistor setup
What size is currently installed on board and what is the board setup for form the factory? Is the board rated for 2.0 a per phase? I am still unsure which resistor have to be changed. Your help is appreciated.

Default is 1.5A per axis
