I recently tried out the engraving function of the 2012 DSP and got some strange results. I have posted a picture so maybe someone might have had a similar problem before. I have a hunch that it might be accelleration issues, but maybe I'm wrong. If you look at the picture, you will see overlap issues while engraving x-swing mode. If I change it to x-swing unilateralism, I only get some compression at the start of the engraving. Any suggestions or ideas would be warmly received with much gratitude.
My current acceleration setting is at 10,000 in work parameter and 20,000 max for manufacture setting. I'm engraving at 300mm/second. I'm running a 40mm ball screw with a pitch of 40 mm per revolution driven by a Yaskawa 850 watt high inertia servo for the x-axis. If any other information would be helpful for solving this problem, please ask as I don't know what other information is related to engraving.

Re: Engraving Issue
Try lower the acceleration. Then set the engraving speed to 100mm/s for testing see if any improvement happened.
You may need to check the belt tension if it's belt driven X-Y stages but seems you're not. Usually this kind of problem is mechanic related issue. It's nothing to do with the DSP. Just let you know
