608 & 708 Same LaserCAD?

I run a 608 in school and are getting a new engraver donated. I'm sure it runs some leetro DSP. If I convert that machine to an AWC-703 would we be able to use one version of LaserCAD for two diferent machines? 608 and a 708?

Typo "AWC703"?? May be AWC708?
All share the same software, the LaserCad
